RITC-PPRT-703 - Cross Media Workflow
Course Description
By the end of this practice-centered course, students will acquire a complete toolkit for executing media projects across platforms. Students will engage in hands-on practice using cutting-edge industry tools to optimize digital assets, successfully manage a brand, and deploy a variety of cross media workflows. By designing business strategies for asset management, and image optimization, students will create an effective cross media workflow to ensure their teams’ media assets have the versatility to function in a variety of distribution channels. This course requires students to have access to Adobe Creative Suite. Software is not included in the registration fee for this course.
Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to:
- Optimize management of a collection of digital media using a range of software applications
- Connect users to assets using common metadata schema.
- Evaluate a variety of digital content management systems in a business context.

Prerequisites
This is a credit-bearing, graduate-level course for non-matriculated students. Anyone with a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, and not currently matriculated in an RIT degree program, is eligible to enroll. While all are welcome to enroll, this course was designed for working professionals in advertising, marketing, and design who wish to advance their careers and expand their expertise.
